Thank you for visiting my blog! I share truths from my life, and I hope you’ll share yours too. This place is sacred space.
Suffering, beauty, hope, love, confusion, and enlightenment are found here. I hope relationships and conversations occur, and that questions are asked and validation is found. You are welcome in this place.
A Little Bit About Me…
I hurt. I love. I laugh. I write. I pray. I question. I struggle. I hope.
I’m a wife, a daughter, a mother, a sister, a friend.
I received a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Warner Pacific College (2006).
My life changed forever during college. I married a man that I loved with all of my heart, and then a year later that marriage ended. I experienced the pain of adultery, deceit, and witnessed the power of sexual addiction. I have been betrayed physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But the story doesn’t end there. Through a portion of this blog I hope to share how tragedy has shaped me, what healing looks like, and how I have experienced beauty in the breakdown. I’m currently writing a memoir too.
What’s Happening Now?
I write about navigating through faith and suffering and anything else that needs to get out of my head and onto paper or screen.
I’ve written about interfaith relationships and cross-sex friendships, and a series entitled “Runaway Protestant” in which I explore my journey to Catholicism. If you’re curious, please visit my Protestant Suburbia.
You can expect three new posts each week, and you are welcome to subscribe to receive them in your inbox. I love connecting with my readers! If you’d like to e-mail me, you can do so through my contact page.
